How do I make a copy of all my Facebook photos?

I want to have a backup copy of all the photos that I have uploaded to Facebook. How can I download all of them without having to save each one individually?

If you want a copy of any information like photos or videos that you've uploaded to Facebook you can now click a link and get a copy of it all in a single download.

The download will create a single .zip file that will contain everything you've ever posted including messages, wall posts and links.

It only downloads information that is still on Facebook so if you've deleted anything, that won't be available.

To create this .zip file you need to go to Account from the top-right menu on the homepage then to Account Settings.

There is now a new section called Download My Information. A message explaining more about the download process will appear and you can then click 'Download'.

An email is then sent to the address linked to the account which will contain a download link. To get the download you will need to re-enter your password and it will then be downloaded to your desktop.

You can then unzip the file by either double clicking on the icon or right-clicking and selecting 'Unzip'.
