Blogger Widget, Featured Post With Thumbnail

As you are reading this tutorial post now, maybe you've been into blogs which has a Featured Posts on their Side Bar, Featuring your posts will help your old posts come alive again, because new visitors or readers on your blog may want to read them and would easily find them because it is only their on the sidebar.

If you want to have this kind of widget on your Blog here are the steps on how to have Featured Posts Widget With Thumbnails and Comment counts on your blog's sidebar:



Firstly, Go To Dashboard-> Layout-> Page elements-> Add a Widget-> HTML/Javascript

Then Copy and Paste this Code:

And change the "YOURBLOGID" to your blog's I.D

And here is how you could find your blog's I.D.:
Go to dashboard and click on your blog's Layout and find you I.D. on the address bar:

And after that, Just add a "featured" label on your blog posts that you want to feature.

In theory this widget is exactly what I'm looking for.

I posted in the code, updated my blogID, then added the "featured" label on one of my posts.

Doesn't display anything under the title.

Ideas for troubleshooting?
