Lenovo P770 is an Android smartphone with several impressive features on paper, it has a huge battery — 3500mAh.

The phones specifications are remarkable at its price. The phone boasts of a dual core processor, dual sim along with micro SD slot for expansion. The front is dominated by a 4.5in QHD IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 540x960 that delivers sharp text and graphics. QHD or Quad HD screen has 4 times the width and 3 times the height of a normal VGA screen.

The phone has a shiny blue design and is quite sturdy. Despite its ruggedness, the back plate comes off easily to give access to both the SIM cards and micro SD card. Most importantly, the P770 comes with 4GB of internal storage — enough for important apps and a modest multimedia collection. In a welcome change, the device comes with a dual-core 1.2GHz Mediatek MT6577T processor, a PowerVR SGX 531 GPU for managing graphic related work and 1GB of RAM. This makes this phone noticeably faster than most other smartphones available in the same price bracket.

The P770 uses Android Jellybean OS with some great UI improvisations by Lenovo, including intelligent addition of tools and widgets. Photos taken in low light using the five megapixel rear camera are a bit noisy and difficult to use but in decent lighting conditions the camera performed decently.

The front 0.3 megapixel camera is usable for making VOIP calls. It's better not to expect anything more from it! An interesting feature is OTG — this enables user to reverse the normal USB connection, from the phone to another device, so you can charge the battery or connect a portable storage straight to your phone.

The most impressive feature of this phone is its 3500mAh battery which is quite surprising and unexpected at this price point. Though it makes the phone 'thicker' and heavier, the battery life is well worth it! It lasted 11 hours while playing videos on a loop and around 43 hours when making calls, using GPS and browsing the web using both 3G and WiFi.

The Lenovo P770 is a capable smartphone, though the camera is a bit of a let down. Still, given its price to performance ratio, it deserves a 'Buy It'.
